The Process
Inspired by a viral tweet, Pursuing Atlantis was designed as a response to the ignorant romanization of beautiful developing countries, namely Indonesia. The exhibit urges visitors to take off their rose-tinted glasses and learn of the truth that were once blurred out. With each artwork expanding upon local perspectives and
their deep rooted pains, every aspect of the exhibit highlights this theme from curved walls reflecting the act of unraveling, a color scheme of peculiar shades of blue, white and green pointing back to common colors in nature with a twist, to the custom designed pockets of rest furniture mimicking a peeled wall.
